Bio:

Dr.-Ing. Sebastian Werner is CTO of Navigance GmbH. He is responsible for building technology & products to optimize chemical plants using machine learning. Sebastian has gained a broad experience during many projects in the intersection of Chemical Technology, Industrial Analytics, Product Development and Shopfloor Reality. He completed a PhD in 2011 focusing on first-principle simulations of processes. During a PostDoc at UC Berkeley he extended his scope to large-scale data analysis.
