Bio:

Ralf Klinkenberg, founder and head of data science research at RapidMiner, is a data-driven entrepreneur with 25+ years of experience in machine learning, advanced analytics, and applications in the automotive, aviation, chemical, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and telecom industries. He initiated the open source software project RapidMiner in 2000 and co-founded the company RapidMiner in 2007. 2008 he won the European Open Source Business Award and 2016 the European Data Innovator Award. 2017 the German government invited him to the steering committee of its “Plattform Lernende Systeme”, a national initiative of the German government to promote artificial intelligence and machine learning in industry and society. RapidMiner has 440,000+ registered users in 150+ countries.
