Bio:

Richard Lim is the Manufacturing Strategist for Ink Supplies Organization at HP Inc. He is has been leading the organization’s efforts towards Smart Manufacturing, moving their manufacturing operations towards Industry 4.0. The organization has factories around the world.

Richard has been in HP for 31 years, having experience in Equipment/Process/Tester Engineering, Factory IT and Manufacturing Analytics. Currently he is leading the organization’s Manufacturing Analytics and IIoT labs technically.

He is an Electronic Engineer & MBA by degree and believes the innovative melding of manufacturing engineering fundamentals and data science is the way to successful manufacturing analytics. He is excited by the opportunity to transform existing manufacturing infrastructure & practices with industry 4.0 insights to give the business industry 4.0 results! He has been active in building an diverse manufacturing analytics group in HP that is making a difference!
